Known As Tycoons

Up and coming Tulsa band Known as Tycoons has only been performing together a few short months, but after hearing their unique sound and seamless performance of original songs, you would never guess that. Band members Justin Harlan, Billy Moore, and Alex Rose have wasted no time in making their name know around the Tulsa area and have become highly sought after, playing at venues like Pour House, Arnie’s, Dirty’s South and Downtown, Grey Snail Saloon, White Owl, Louie’s, Tiny Lounge, Oscar’s GastroPub in Tulsa, and On the Rocks in Fayetteville, AR, in addition to private parties. Musicianship is a priority for the group, and it shows in the rich vocals and strong instrumental showing from these three musicians. After recording their first demo in November of 2008, a producer commented that the group has “a remarkably fresh sound, incredible musicianship, and a tight professional chemistry,” and “clearly has the potential to achieve significant commercial success.” Their original song “Reaching” is already being featured in the independent film “Works in Progress”. Known as Tycoons is making music that is all their own and creating a growing fan base with their infectious lyrics and contagious sound.
