Good News Praise Band

Good News Praise Band leads three identical contemporary worship services each Sunday at Discovery Christian Church, Moreno Valley, California. Songwriters Don Maresh and Greg Doyle have an interesting songwriting combination from their 20-plus years of leading worship. They have professionally recorded three CDs of their music in the past decade. Discography- No Other God (2000) - 15 songs; The God That I Love (2002) - 19 songs; You're My God (2006) - a double CD set - 23 songs. Don and Greg are fans of The Beatles, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Creedence Clearwater Revival and enjoy writing about faith issues. Don managed a warehouse for 20 years before becoming an associate pastor. Greg is a recently retired police sergeant, who also writes books on faith. Together they lead Good News Praise Band. The cover art is from the "You're My God" CD, which was our first full in-studio recording. Most of the songs posted at Amaze.fm are from that CD. Don Maresh sings leads on most of the songs. All of our recording projects have been funded by the congregation at Discovery Christian Church.
